Lewis E. Myatt
In March 2006, Lewis E. Myatt retired from the practice of law after 46 years of devoted service. First admitted to the Oregon State Bar and Federal District Court Bar in 1960, Mr. Myatt simply loved being an attorney.
Dedicated to his community, Mr. Myatt served as President and Board Member of the Beaverton Rotary Club and as a member of the Dammasch State Hospital Advisory Board. He was a founder, member of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Board of the Washington County Children's Dental Clinic.
As a pioneer in the legal industry, Mr. Myatt is credited with leading the largest law firm in Washington County during the 1960s and 1970s. He also was one of the first Washington County attorneys to hire a woman attorney and was influential in promoting the induction of a woman into the local rotary club.
