Myatt & Bell Paralegal Judy Gibson Retires After 54 Remarkable Years

After an extraordinary 54 years of service, we bid a fond farewell to Judy Gibson as she steps into retirement. Judy has been nothing short of foundational to Myatt & Bell, leaving an indelible mark through her exceptional leadership as a lead paralegal, her thoughtful mentorship, and her unwavering commitment to our clients and team.

When Judy joined Myatt & Bell in 1971, the firm was still in its early chapters. Over the decades, she became a steady and guiding presence, helping lead us through every stage of growth, from our early foundations to our expansion into Washington State and beyond. As the firm evolved, so did Judy’s role and influence. Her expertise in estate planning, paired with genuine care and professionalism, made her a trusted guide to thousands of families. She didn’t just support our client experience; she helped shape it.

At Myatt & Bell, we are committed to helping families navigate life’s challenges with thoughtful planning and compassionate support. Judy embodied that mission from the beginning, setting a standard that continues to guide us today. More than our lead paralegal, Judy is a cultural cornerstone of Myatt & Bell. Her example fostered a workplace rooted in legal excellence, empathy, and unwavering client service. Her standards were high, her dedication unmatched, and her collaborative spirit elevated everyone around her. The values we carry forward are, in many ways, a reflection of the example she set over five remarkable decades.

Judy’s influence lives on in the thousands of clients she supported and in the many team members she mentored and inspired. Her presence is woven into how we work, how we serve, and how we grow. So much of who we are as a firm is because of her. It’s hard to imagine our day-to-day without Judy’s wisdom, warmth, and steady presence. As she steps into this next season, we do so with profound gratitude for everything she has given to our team, our clients, and our mission. She has left a lasting imprint that will continue to shape us for years to come.

Judy, thank you. You will be deeply missed. We wish you a joyful, well-earned retirement filled with rest, laughter, and all the adventures ahead.
